Yas Studio Storytelling

Yasumiko Cindy Tsz-Yan Lo-Garry is a writer, animated storyteller and film-maker. Her interests in creative writing was developed as one of her focused hobbies at her young age.

In 2007, because of her success in 3D animation & game development, Miko was awarded a PhD scholarship. And in 2010, Miko was awarded her PhD on 'Practice as Research" methodology for art and technology, using experiential and experimental investigations plus applied research.

Her academic success was no match with the freedom and the reflection time she had during her research period. It was both liberating and enlightening, opening new doors to the values & true meanings of life beyond knowledge.

This page displays some of her early works in storytelling. Ultimately, the story Miko wants to tell is: the stories of all those strange beings whom she had encountered in reality.

All the stories and illustrated characters are the original concepts by Miko.
